The goal of this project was to create a "collectible' version of an album using only images photographed by me.
"Bloom" is an album by Troye Sivan that has songs both about falling in love and accepting the loss of love, and I tried to capture this imagery the vinyl cover. I used the imagery of a rose to symbolize this love. The bright red, straight rose on top represents the highs of love, while the dim, wilted rose at the bottom represents the love lost. The sleeve inside features a rose with petals fallen over, representing the types of love Sivan sings about in each song.
The simple imagery and color palette makes the whole project synchronised with each other. The wrapped text of the title and artist on the cover helps the text move with the pictures as the viewer looks.
