INTERNAL FEAR is a clothing brand that centers around horror imagery. For the T-shirt design, I was heavily inspired by Junji Ito's work. The shirt shows a lady covered in unconventional eyes putting on makeup. The makeup has imagery of a conventional eye on it. The background is made up of one giant eye staring down at the girl.
The image is supposed to represent how people feel the need to change or cover their "flaws" because they fear the people who watch them. The details of the drawing are supposed to make them view the image uncomfortably, which is how people should view the pressure of beauty.
