Helvetica is a controversial font that marks the modernization of typography as it strives for neutrality. It is a product of the Swiss Graphic Design movement, which utilized bold but minimalist artwork. Despite that minimalism, Swiss Graphic Design also experiments with pattern, shape, and typography to create dynamic designs.
This kind of experimentation is what I wanted to capture in this poster, that serves to inform the reader about Helvetica. High contrast between segments of the grid structure helps to break up the poster in a way that both keeps the reader's attention and makes it easy for the eye to navigate throughout the poster.
