The goal of this project was to redesign a school logo that feels modern and can make the school's branding more cohesive. Another goal was to make the design look more menacing, as the logo will mainly be used by sports teams who want to appear more menacing to their opponents.
South Fayette has mulitple logos that range from better or worse, but there is no cohesiveness between them which affects their brand as a school. Not only are the lions all completely different art styles, but the colors are not cohesive either. Multiple shades of green are used with no green being obvious.
My design fixes these problems by creating one animal design and one green to stick to. The clean lines and bold colors make it feel updated, and the lioness combined with the logotype create syncronization as it looks as if the lioness is screaming it herself.
