This poster was designed to visualize the quote from major graphic designer Saul Bass, who said "Design is thinking made visual." For this piece, I studied Bass's different works so that I could capture his style in my piece, with my own twist. His work tend to be minimalist and rely on high contrast to capture the artist's attention. They tend to use a bold main color like red or orange, with black silhouettes and sometimes some white detail.
I took this quote to heart when designing as I use the lamp silhouette to guide the eye down the poster and unite the contrasting components together.
